Chapple Design helps Louie and Netty Ryan design Menotti’s Coffee Stop from scratch.
From gutted storage space to hot little coffee house, this bright and cozy Venice Beach venue serves up Four Barrel Coffee along with vintage vinyl beats. The concept follows restoration of iconic and long lost “Menotti’s Bar/Buffet” logo, once painted on the side of the Townhouse building. Local folklore indicates Caesar Menotti ran one of the West Coast’s most prolific speakeasy tunnels through the downstairs portion of the prohibition era “Menotti’s Buffet”. The new Menotti’s Coffee Stop pays homage to the landmark location and you can even cozy up to the bar made from vintage ceiling tiles found onsite. If those tiles could talk……
